[what if]
[So I know at just gone midnight I'm not exactly gonna be thinking straight, but I just thought of this, & I'm bored so I thought I'd share it with all of you. [I'm kinda doing my English homework at the moment too, so don't ask how I got from Froops to this]
Life is about taking risks. Is life worth living if at every corner, you stop & think, is it worth the risk? What if something bad happens? You can't live like that! Every time you take a step, something bad could happen; every time you say something, something bad could happen; & every time you breath, something bad could happen. But what if something bad didn't happen? What if you took a chance, & it was the best thing in the world? What if one day you met an amazing person & you feel for them instantly. What then? Would you keep quiet, for fear that they wouldn't feel the same way about you? Or would you tell them & take a chance that they felt the same way? They might say they didn't feel the same way as you, but at least you tried! But they might say they'd loved you since the day they met you too & you'd get happily married, etc. Someone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new. And that does make sense. Sometimes you need to make a mistake to get somewhere. Without trying new things, how do you know what you're missing out on? Surely sometimes a risk is worth taking? I've taken a few risks before. Some worked out, some didn't. But all it took was for one to work out, & all the rest seemed so insignificant. That one moment of realising that, yes, life can work out okay, was enough to make up for everything else. Take a chance. Something good might come out of it.
