[I watched Live 8 til 1:00 in the morning. It carried on til 4:15 on the BBC, but by the time 1:00 came around I was half asleep anyway.
I think we discussed the G8 summit in RE on Thursday... No, wait, not RE. Um...we may have discussed it in Geography actually. And English. Basically we were talking about it in school. And my English teacher said that when they did it before [when she was like, four years old...] they raised loads of money for Africa but this time they want to change the world. Make Poverty History.
I dunno how many people watched 'The Girl In The Cafe' last week, but it was really good. It was a good film, but it also got its point across. A child dies every three seconds needlessly. That's what we want to STOP! Because it needs to end now. We can be the generation that does change the world, but in the end it's up to those eight men in that one room. It's up to them to listen to us & Make Poverty History.
